The characters Eeyore, Piglet, Tigger, Kanga and Roo were also developed from the stuffed animals of Christopher Robin. Winnie-the-Pooh was published October 14th, 1926, Now We are Six in 1927, and The House at Pooh Corner in 1928. The illustrations were created by E. H. Shepard.
